Sidekick ("we," "our," or "us") provides a sports prediction and comparison platform. This Privacy Policy details how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your information when you use the Sidekick mobile application (the "App") and our related web services (the "Service").

1. Information We Collect

A. Account Synchronization Data

When you sign in using Sign in with Apple, we collect your Apple User ID, displayed name, and synchronization logs. We store your account statistics (XP levels, game cards, invite codes, and friend counts) to manage your synchronization profile.

B. In-App Purchases (IAP) & Transaction Details

When you purchase virtual booster packs or other items through In-App Purchases:

• Payment processing is handled securely and directly by Apple Inc. under the App Store Terms. We do not collect or store your credit card or billing details.
• We collect anonymous transaction receipts, purchase validation tokens, transaction timestamps, and item unlock states to deliver the digital booster packs to your account and verify purchase integrity.

C. Shared Slip Data

Match prediction slips are formatted using a local-first token design. Slips you compare or share are encoded directly inside URL query parameters. While we transmit this data to render comparison landing pages, we do not store these slips on our servers.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information to:

• Verify and fulfill purchases of virtual booster packs.
• Manage and sync user profiles, XP level stats, and mini-league scores.
• Enforce probability transparency and disclose booster pack odds as required by App Store rules.
• Analyze diagnostic reports and logs to prevent crashes and coordinate API rate limiting.

3. Virtual Items & Disclosures

Our App sells virtual randomized booster packs. These digital assets:

• Have no real-world cash value and cannot be exchanged, traded, or redeemed for physical currency or items.
• Are subject to probability disclosures. The exact odds of winning each item type are displayed transparently in the shop before purchase.

4. Children's Privacy (COPPA & GDPR-K)

Sidekick does not knowingly collect personal data from children under the age of 13 (or under 16 in the European Union). Because we offer real-money In-App Purchases and randomized booster packs, we strictly request that minors do not make purchases or sync account details without verified parental consent. If we discover that we have inadvertently collected such data, we will delete it immediately.

5. Your Privacy Rights (GDPR & CCPA)

Depending on your jurisdiction (such as the European Economic Area or California), you may have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of the sync profiles and purchase validations associated with your Apple ID.
